Modern Comfort in Keilor East

Terrible experience. Was threatened by property manager to pay for their mistake. Positive: Big and clean place. Negative: The host informed me that I rented the place for 22 days and requested to extend the stay by 1 day, 3 days before the end date. I was told by the property manager, "Yes, it's available, you're welcome to extend your stay". I asked how can I make payment as I am unable to add 1 day from the booking.com platform. I was told by the property manager that they'll check and get back to me shortly. Eventually they did not get back to me and on the 22nd day they told me that their cleaner found that our belongings are still inside the property. They said I had to pay for the cleaning call out fee as I did not inform them about the extension. I was very upset and disappointed because I was told that I am WELCOMED TO EXTEND MY STAY and I even requested to make payment but nobody got back to me. Seems like someone from the property did not check and follow up with the payment for 1 extra and they did not inform the cleaner to come the next day instead and the blame was put on me. I tried to reason with the property manager that I am willing to pay for the 1 day extension rental, which I have transferred immediately within 2mins, but not for the call out fee. Eventually I was told by the property manager "If we don't receive the remains amount within the next 5 mins we will begin removing your belongings and arrange to have the locks changed."
